A more intimate, less risky 2-day workshop where the actors literally sit around a table and read the play for the playwright (okay – sometimes it’s music stands). At times it’s an early draft with a maybe-but-maybe-not cast; sometimes it’s with the complete cast, a last opportunity for the playwright to hear the play aloud before going into production.
