The 2014/15 Company

PLAN-B THEATRE COMPANY develops and produces unique and socially conscious theatre with a focus on new plays by Utah playwrights. At the conclusion of the 2014/15 season, 83 of the 111 productions in our 24-year history will have been world premieres, 81 by Utah playwrights. Plan-B has received 49 City Weekly Arty/Slammy Awards (including Best Local Theatre Production 13 of the past 14 seasons), 20 QSaltLake Fabby Awards (including Best Theatre Company each of the past 10 seasons) and Organization of the Year awards from Equality Utah, Human Rights Campaign and Transgender Education Advocates (TEA) of Utah (twice)! Below are the bios of all of the artists working on the 2014/15 season: Matthew Ivan Bennett’s RADIO HOUR EPISODE 9: GRIMM, Julie Jensen’s CHRISTMAS WITH MISFITS, Elaine Jarvik’s MARRY CHRISTMAS, Carleton Bluford’s MAMA, Matthew Ivan Bennett’s A/VERSION OF EVENTS, Melissa Leilani Larson’s PILOT PROGRAM, and the Free Elementary School Tours of Jenifer Nii’s RUFF! and Matthew Ivan Bennett’s DIFFERENT=AMAZING (encore). BILL ALLRED (Ensemble, RADIO HOUR EPISODE 9: GRIMM) makes his third appearance in Plan-B’s RADIO HOUR. He has also appeared in Plan-B’s Script-In-Hand Series readings of STANDING ON CEREMONY: THE GAY MARRIAGE PLAYS and 8 and co-hosted several AND THE BANNED PLAYED ON events.
