In PHỞ 69: A ROMANCE by first-time playwright Wendy Dang, Mai & Binh are the children of the owners of two rival phở restaurants. Their love story is filled with familial obligation, growth, and an ending everyone deserves.
APHASIA BY DEE-DEE DARBY-DUFFIN
FEBRUARY 21
In APHASIA by Dee-Dee Darby-Duffin (EllaMental, “DOLs” as part of LOCAL COLOR, “Fried Chicken” as part of FULL COLOR), a mother and daughter struggle to map out a new way to communicate, which they didn’t do all that well in the first place. How do you talk to someone who can’t answer you back?

In A.I., TOO by Mahonri Stewart (making his Plan-B debut), Robert & Aida have grown both restless and complacent while their robot has grown sentient. A tale of unraveling assumptions, faith crises, and the power of the poetry Langston Hughes.
