SY24 Free Elementary School Tour (Live Performance)

The Tour is fully booked. Select waitlist to be notified if a slot opens.
Please select your region from the drop-down menu below, then select a date/time, then click the Proceed to Confirmation button to request a free performance of SQUEAK by Tito Livas for your school.

SQUEAK runs 35 minutes, which includes a brief introduction and post-show discussion. If you would like to request a time that isn’t listed, please choose the nearest available block and then specify your preferred time in the additional notes box below.

What We Need: If you have a stage, we’re happy to use it, but if not we’ll need about 15′ by 17′ of performance space with a gap of at least 6′ between this space and the audience. Our actors will need somewhere to change before and after. Our Tour Manager will need a table set up near an outlet for our sound system.

Squeak’s brain moves at warp speed.

Sometimes that makes it hard to connect with other kids.

And sometimes it’s hard for grown-ups to understand.

A journey across the spectrum created specifically for grades K-3, complete with dinosaurs, Dragon Breaths, and a new friend.

Fine Arts Core Standards are integrated into the script and the low-prep, pre-and-post-assembly classroom activities provided via this study guide, which also tie into Core Standards in Language Arts, Library Media, Social Studies, and Health Education, as well as five of the six SEL Outcomes.

After experiencing SQUEAK students will:

  • develop a vocabulary for talking about neurodiversity, understanding that not everyone’s brain works the same way.
  • appreciate differences and treat others with dignity and respect.
  • learn breathing exercises to calm stressful moments.
  • communicate effectively to resolve conflict.
